Stamp Duty
The Department of provincial Revenue Stamp Duty is charged under section 37 of the Finance Statute of the Central Province No.17 of 1990.

Mineral Tax
Mineral tax is charged under section 9 of the Finance (Supplementary Provisions) Statute of the Central Province No. 03 of 1996.

Pawn Brokers License
Issuing annual license to the existing pawn broker businesses and registration of new pawn broker businesses under the Statute No.4 of 2014 .
The Department of Provincial Revenue of Central Province
The Department of provincial Revenue of Central provincial council was established according to the legal framework of number 17 of 1990, enacted by the Central Provincial Council in accordance with the powers vested in Provincial Councils under the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
The Department functions under the supervision of the Hon. Chief Minister in his or her capacity as the Minister of Finance, while the Chief Secretary serves as the Chief Accounting Officer of the Central Provincial Council.
The core objective of the Department is to collect the financial resources required for the betterment of the general public in the province through taxes and duties. The Department is responsible for the effective administration of revenue sources assigned to Provincial Councils under the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution, while maintaining an efficient and up-to-date administrative procedure for revenue collection.
